About Course

As per Local Law 196 of 2017 supervisors at job sites that must designate a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager must receive 30 hours of construction industry safety training (OSHA) and an additional 32 hours of (SST) training. (Note: This course is designed for individuals who already have an OSHA card. If you do not have a 30- Hour OSHA Construction Industry card, you need to take the 62- Hour SST Supervisor bundle course which includes both.)

The 32-Hour SST course includes 8- Hour Fall Prevention, 8- Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher/ Chapter 33, 4- Hour Supported Scaffold User/Refresher, 2- Hour Drug and Alcohol, 2- Hour Site Safety Plan, 2- Hour Tool Box Talks, 2- Hour Pre-Task Safety Meeting, 2- Hour General Electives, and 2- Hour Special Elective courses. These courses combined with 30- Hour OSHA Construction Industry training are required for any individual to work in a supervisory capacity on construction sites in NYC.
